Unique “Brodifacoum 98%” registration
“Since the advent of the rodenticide Talon® (Brodifacoum) in 1978, it has not been known in China until the Siyang Rodenticide Factory produced and registered it. This is the first in China, and the factory has registered complete formulations at the same time, Technical Material, Technical Concentrate and Baits…” – Chapter 3.3, “Chinese Journal Of Vector Biology And Control”, 1998, Volume 9, Issue 6.
Siyang Rodenticide Factory is currently the only licensed exporter of Brodifacoum Technical Material in China.
The factory is in compliance with the following legal export procedures: (1) The export quantity of Brodifacoum with HS code “2932209011 (technical grades)” certified by ICAMA. (2) Brodifacoum TC is subject to mandatory CIQ inspection and quarantine as a final packing of extremely toxic chemical in Group “I” steel drum. (3) Maritime transportation under IMDG declaration of UN 3027 (Coumarin Derivative, Pesticides, Solid, Toxic).
Important tips for sourcing legal Brodifacoum TC from China
Steel-material container (UN seal mark = A) is mandatory, the others are illegal, such as fiberboard (G), plastic (H), paper (M), etc., while requiring packaging level equivalence for Group I (UN seal mark = X, the Highest Degree of Danger).
Due to the lethal and extreme toxicity of Bromadiolone technical material (TC), air transportation is banned in China and only “FCL” (Full Container Load) is accepted by ocean shipping.
It is particularly important to emphasize that the global HS code for Technical coumarin-rodenticide (TC) including its Concentrates (TK), is ‘293220/90(EU)’, not ‘380899’, which is the RB (rodenticide baits ready for use) code.
